The leaves of damiana are believed to promote an aphrodisiac effect in men and women. An aphrodisiac is a substance that increases sexual desire, arouses sexual instinct, and may increase sexual performance and pleasure. Studies suggest that the flavonoids found in damiana may be responsible for this effect.

Promotes Female Hormonal Balance and Reproductive Health

Damiana promotes apoptogenic properties, modulating the stress response, and indirectly supporting hormonal balance. Hormones play an important role in female fertility. Too much or too little of certain hormones can negatively affect the reproductive system. Damiana is believed to support healthy hormone levels in women.

Recommendations
