Skin and Essential Fatty Acids

Essential fatty acids are essential for one reason: your body needs them. Our body does not produce them, therefore; it can only be consumed.
It has an array of benefits such as the transport and breakdown of cholesterol, proper development and functioning of the brain and nervous system, regulation of blood pressure, liver function, serves as an anti-inflammatory agent, and supports the health of the hair and skin.
Many Hispanic Americans suffer from skin disorders, such as acne, and treat their skin with topical products that can make the acne worse or serve as a “temporary” relief, causing future breakouts. According Vivian Bucay, MD, FAAD in an article on Saludify.com, “I have found that Hispanic patients can be very sensitive to products containing benzoyl peroxide, an ingredient found in countless over-the-counter as well as prescription medications for acne”.
The key element to a healthy, radiant skin is to have a healthy diet that contains essential fatty acids. Essential fatty acids are food to the cell membranes in our skin. It helps keep the natural oils in our skin. When we do not consume essential fatty acids our skin is prone to acne flare ups, dryness, whiteheads and blackheads.
Natura-Genics® has formulated a unique kit that includes Omega-3 and Omega-6 for your skin health. Essential Fatty Acid Kit contains Omega-3, Flaxseed oil, and Lecithin Forte™. Combined, these two essential fats and lecithin can help combat acne and clear up your skin. Also, it is important to have your bowels and liver clean before taking this product.
In order to achieve optimum skin health you have to eat healthy (living foods), exercise regularly, drink plenty of water, rest, as well as take the recommended supplements.
