Description
Pea Protein is a dietary supplement formulated to promote muscle health and growth. Pea protein is available in powder form from Natura-Genics®.
Key Ingredients
Pea Protein is a combination of pea protein isolate and bee propolis. Pea protein is an excellent alternative source of protein. It is naturally vegan, gluten-free, and dairy-free. Pea protein powder contains all nine essential amino acids not naturally created in the body. Bee propolis is included for additional nutritional value and muscle support.
Benefits of Pea Protein
Along with appropriate strength training, research has found that pea protein promotes an increase in muscle thickness. It also found no significant difference between pea protein and whey protein making this an effective alternative for individuals with certain food sensitivities. Pea protein contains BCAAs, which are the branched amino acids leucine, isoleucine, and valine. BCAAs have been shown to support muscle building, promote decreased muscle fatigue, and support reduced muscle soreness. Bee propolis provides additional support by promoting muscle protection from exercise-induced oxidative and inflammatory damage.
