How It Works

Supports Urinary System Health
For hundreds of years, hydrangea has been used to promote urinary system health. Certain blood markers, when elevated, are associated with kidney injury. Some studies have found that hydrangea may have the ability to promote lower levels of some of these markers. Skimmin, an active molecule found in hydrangea, appears to assist in reducing blood urea nitrogen, blood creatinine, and urinary albumin excretion, which in high levels indicate kidney dysfunction. Additionally, hydrangea promotes anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties that also support urinary system health.
