How It Works

Supports Urinary System Health
Juniper berries are believed to promote urinary antiseptic and diuretic properties. A diuretic increases urine flow, which helps cleanse the body of excess fluids and stimulates the kidneys. Some research has shown that the diuretic effects of juniper berries are caused by the essential oil terpinol-4-ol. Terpinol-4-ol may promote an increase in kidney filtration and help flush out bacteria from the kidneys and bladder. Due to the antiseptic properties of juniper berries, they are commonly used to support symptoms caused by urinary tract infections.
