How It Works

Dong Quai, sometimes called the “female ginseng,” has been used for thousands of years in Traditional Chinese Medicine. Some of dong quai’s constituents include coumarins, essential oils, ferulic acids, psoralens, vitamin B12, and folinic acid. Folinic acid is the active form of folic acid.

Dong quai contains several properties that make it a popular herb for women's health. Herbalists have recommended it for years to promote healthy blood flow and circulation.
